Covid-19: Practical guidance on significant legal, regulatory and commercial issues

Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) was declared a global health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organisation on the 30th day of January 2020. It has compelled governments, and particularly healthcare systems, to respond expeditiously and in a coordinated way to ensure that they are constructively responding to the evolving situation to ensure the wellbeing of their citizens.

This human and social crisis is disproportionate in magnitude, necessitating some significant changes in the way we conduct our affairs. As efforts are underway to check the spread across the world, the impact on businesses and the global economy has become increasingly significant. A fundamental issue is how should businesses respond to the pandemic.

Businesses are assessing on a continuous basis, how to respond to the unprecedented legal, commercial and regulatory risks posed by Covid-19.  At ML, we care about and are interested in the success and well-being of our workforce, clients, vendors and wider stakeholders. As part of our service to them, we developed this repository of insights, innovative solutions, events and concise guides to deliver our proven guidance and direction on some of the key issues affecting businesses globally.
